PROVEIT: trivia game app design

PROVEIT is the first US app that lets you play daily trivia against your friends for cash prizes. Whether you love Seinfeld, science or the Super Bowl, someone’s waiting for you to PROVEIT.

I love it when I get recommended to work with great tech teams around the world. This recommendation came from Matt at Prempoint, who suggested I work with his friends Nate and Prem on their new trivia quiz game. Once introductions were made, I was quick to jump on board.

Concepts and social features

I started by designing concepts for the new game app. We focused on how it could look several versions down the line, including licensed sections, promoted content and huge tournament challenges. The concepts sparked lots of excitement and debate, as the design had to tick a lot of boxes, not only visually but legally. We felt the best direction was to make it as social as possible, which led to showing who was playing, how many people were in each game and easy access to friend challenges.

I was given lots of creative freedom and designed the whole UX flow, from sign up and onboarding to winning your first game. It was a great experience and I’m proud of the final product.

It’s only available in the US for now, but keep an eye on this team. They’re doing great things in the quiz space.
