Moneyinfo: a digital platform for wealth managers
Moneyinfo is a UK fintech company based in Warwickshire. Their platform helps wealth managers, financial planners and private banks look after their clients digitally, bringing branded client apps and portals, secure messaging, digital onboarding and workflow automation together in one place. It’s trusted by over 175,000 users.
The idea is simple. Give high net worth clients a modern, secure way to see their finances and talk to their adviser, all under the wealth manager’s own brand, while saving firms hours of admin and paperwork.
Six years of UX and UI design
I worked with Moneyinfo from 2019 to 2025 on a long term contract as their UX and UI designer. Over those six years I worked on just about every part of the product.
A lot of it started with MVPs and clickable prototypes for new features, so we could test ideas quickly before anything went into development. From there it was UX design, user flows and wireframes, then polished UI design for the client portal, the mobile app and the tools advisers use every day.
Some of the bigger pieces of work included the secure messaging inbox, a document vault for sharing files with clients, and a workflow builder that lets firms automate jobs like rebalancing reports and client reviews. Because so much of the platform is white labelled, every screen also had to look right under each firm’s own brand colours and logo.
It was really rewarding to watch the platform evolve over that time, from a refreshed client portal into a full digital relationship platform used by firms right across the UK.
Part of the family
The team at Moneyinfo were amazing. From day one they treated me like part of the family rather than an outside contractor. I was invited along to their away days, included in team discussions and always made to feel like one of them.
