OneZone: city guide app design
OneZone was a client of top-tier development studio Kanso. We’d worked together on various iPhone projects before, so when CEO Robin called and asked me to be involved in the UX and UI design, I was happy to jump on board, knowing the quality of work Kanso produce.
OneZone founder Natasha Zone had a strong vision and had already designed a prototype herself, which became the basis of my work on the app.
Workshopping the idea
Natasha, the Kanso team and I got together in Cardiff to workshop her ideas and agree a plan. We reviewed the prototype, user journeys and personas, and had a lengthy lean canvas discussion.
Natasha has a great eye for detail and a strong sense of clean design, using white space to its advantage. That played to my strengths, and I was happy to work alongside her on the screens shown here. I refined the UX flow and added the final touches to the UI design.
This mobile app was an interesting challenge and I’m really happy with the end result. All that’s left to say is go and download the app on iOS or Android!
